Who We Are

Play and Art Therapy are effective and caring forms of therapy that will take your child through a gentle experience, with creativity at it’s core and our therapist as their guide. At The Play Therapies Centre we are passionate about helping and supporting children to grow and progress from being anxious, withdrawn or hostile, to becoming more confident, content and satisfied within themselves and their environments.

Our Experience

The Play Therapies Centre (founded 2011 under Play Therapy NI) is a region wide team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals with decades of extensive experience within educational and health and social care settings.

Each of our therapists are qualified to a min Post Graduate level in Non-Directive Play Therapy or Masters in Art Psychotherapy. We are registered with Play Therapy International and the Academy of Play And Child Psychotherapy (APAC) or the British Association of Art Therapy. In addition to this our therapists are on the Public Standard Authority or Health Professional Council Register.
